Kuukkeli Rental Office
Kuukkeli Rental Shop – bike and equipment rental office operates during snowless periods in the outdoor shelter in the parking lot of the Kuukkeli Shopping Center. During snowy periods, the office is located in the lowest level of the shopping center, i.e., the basement, at Kiveliöntie 8, Siula building, 99830 Saariselkä.

Rental Times
From our bike rental, you can rent a bike for three, five, or eight hours. Do you want to rent a bike for a longer period? You can also rent a bike for 24 hours (1 day). If you rent a bike for 24 hours, you can make a reservation until 9 PM the previous evening.
Reservation and Payment
You can rent a bike on-site or in advance online. Online reservations are paid at the time of booking. If necessary, we can reschedule the rental time free of charge 24 hours before the rental starts. On-site rentals are paid in cash or by card.
The rental can be paid in full or in part through the mobile apps Edenred, Epassi, Smartum, and Easybreak (not with paper vouchers). We are also the only rental service in Saariselkä where you can earn K-Plussa points when paying for your bike rental on-site.
Pickup and Return
Bikes are picked up and returned at Kuukkeli Rental Office. Please remember to return the bike and accessories at the agreed time. The bike may be scheduled for the next user soon after your rental period and needs to be serviced and charged before then. We deliver the bikes washed and serviced, and we disinfect the touch points.
Activities and program services
Saariselka has lots of things to do and experience all year round. Through Kuukkeli Rental Shop you can also book various activities and local program services in the Saariselkä area. There are all kind of activities beginning from independent hiking on UK-National Park trails, mountain biking and sliding down of Finland’s longest sledding hill to snowmobile tours and husky safaris.
